Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, stepped out for the amfAR Palm Beach gala days after Page Six confirmed that his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, was dating Tiger Woods.
The businessman, 47, and the socialite, 38, were all smiles while posing on the red carpet at the event in Palm Beach, Fla., on Saturday, where Martha Stewart was honored with the award of inspiration.
Don Jr. — President Trump’s eldest child — wore a blue suit and white button-up shirt, while Anderson was dressed in a silver sequined minidress.
The couple’s upbeat outing came shortly after news broke about Vanessa’s new romance with Woods.
On Thursday, an insider told Page Six that Vanessa’s relationship with the pro golfer was “not too serious” but “heading in that direction.”
“They have a lot in common,” the source said. “They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents.”
We were also told that the duo is a “good match” because they “like to avoid drama” and “share a lot of the same values.”
Vanessa’s 17-year-old daughter, Kai Trump, reportedly goes to the same school as Woods’ children, Sam, 17, and Charlie, 16, whom the sports legend shares with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.
Vanessa also shares kids Donald III, 16, Tristan, 13, Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 10, with ex-husband Don Jr.
Vanessa, 47, had subtly dropped hints about her interest in Woods, 49, by “liking” his social media posts over the past several months.
A source told us that the pro golfer was initially “hesitant” to begin a romance with Vanessa because he didn’t want to ruin his “good relationship” with President Trump.
“[Woods] friend-zoned her; they just talked about the kids and kept things pretty platonic and casual. Then, sure enough, feelings started developing on both sides,” the insider said.
However, the pair has kept their relationship secret because Vanessa is “very private and doesn’t like the spotlight,” Page Six learned.
“Their friends know they are dating,” one source told us. “The two were careful to keep their dating under wraps as they built up their relationship.”
Meanwhile, we’re told that Don Jr. is “fully supportive” of Vanessa and “approves” of her relationship with Woods.
“He also knows that his father [President Trump] respects Tiger and how well they get along,” an insider said.
