Donald Trump has demanded McDonald's, hotdogs and Diet Coke when he attends the college football game between Alabama and Georgia on Saturday night.

The former president is expected to take a break from the campaign trail and attend one of the most-anticipated games of the season in Tuscaloosa.

Trump, 78, was invited to the game by Alabama businessman Ric Mayers, who has revealed the Republican candidate's food order.

He supposedly wants two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches with cheese from McDonald's, pizza from Domino's, hot dogs from the stadium and plenty of Diet Coke.

Speaking about Trump's requests, Mayers said: 'I like a good steak but President Trump’s (food preferences) are as mundane as it gets.'

Trump is know to be a huge fan of McDonald's and has served fast food to a number of sports teams during their visits to the White House

Talking about the fast food chain, he told CNN a Filet-O-Fish was his 'favorite meal' and said: 'I'm a very clean person. I like cleanliness.

'I think you're better off going there than someplace that you maybe have no idea where the food is coming from. It's a certain standard. But I think the food is good.'

Trump will be joined in his suite at the game by Alabama senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, ALGOP chairman John Wahl and friends and family of Mayers.

On Wednesday, DailyMail.com revealed in a new poll that Trump had opened up a 10-point lead on opponent Kamala Harris.

The model crunches all the latest poll data, as well as decades worth of election results plus economic indicators, to calculate who has the best chance of winning the electoral college in November.

It still shows Harris with the best chance of claiming victory in the popular vote (it gives her 50.8 percent support now and a 65 percent chance of finishing with more votes in November).

But state-by-state numbers all show the Blue Wall of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan tilting towards Trump, giving him the overall advantage when it comes to winning the White House.

It gives him a 55.2 percent chance of victory. Harris is on 44.6 percent, with a very small chance of a tie.

Trump's appearance at Saturday's game, which will be attended by over 100,000 fans, will come with heightened security after the two recent assassination attempts against him.

Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe said he 'wouldn't comment on protectee schedules' but added: 'What I'll tell you is that each event is complex, and each advance is different.

'And those advance teams, they know what they have to do to make a secure environment for our protectees.'

It will not be Trump's first time at a college football game. Last year he was seen tailgating with fans outside the Iowa-Iowa State game.

Trump was seen cooking burgers with fans outside before getting a huge ovation when he made his way inside the stadium. He was also present at the game between South Carolina and Clemson last year.

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was asked about the prospect of Trump being in the crowd but he played it down earlier this week.

'I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of celebrity-type people here – people that want to come be a part of what's happening on gameday,' he said.

'Everyone's watching. It'll be great to have everyone who wants to come watch be here.

'For us, I told the guys this, with "Gameday" and everything coming here as well, for the guys, try to take as much off of their plate other than maybe a few extra interviews toward the end of the week.

'The main thing is they get prepared to play the best football game that they've played this year.

'I've always challenged them to play the best football game they've ever played in their career. That's what matters when it comes down to what we can control.

'But yeah, it is kinda cool we have a lot of people who want to come be a part of the atmosphere and add to the excitement and energy the game will bring.'
