Who ordered DoorCrash?

A DoorDash driver took a major wrong turn in Texas and crashed through a neighboring house, destroying a garage door — and then driving off without even delivering the tacos.

The still-at-large driver was supposed to be delivering in Plano earlier this month when he took a wrong turn and somehow crashed into Melanie Uriegas’ home, causing thousands of dollars in damage with a huge gaping hole, she told NBC 5 DFW reported.

A neighbor told Uriegas they “heard a crash” and saw the driver at the scene.

“I looked at the guy and I was like, ‘Are you OK?’ And he just looked at me and drove off,” Uriegas quoted her neighbor as telling her.

The hungry neighbor waiting for their tacos, meanwhile, walked over to find out why the driver went to the wrong street — and saw the chaos. Still, he was able to help track the fleeing driver.

“My neighbor is still tracking DoorDash on his phone because the order was not canceled,” Uriegas said of the user who never got their tacos.

“So he can still see the car driving on the app and that was given to the police,” Uriegas said.

Still, police have yet to nab the delivery driver, who was driving an older model, baby-blue Toyota Carolla that likely sustained severe damage.

Uriegas said she was frustrated that she has to wait for more evidence before being able to claim insurance for the accident, which she feels the food delivery giant should cover anyway.

“This is DoorDash, it’s their company, not my problem,” Uriegas said. “Fix my house. I didn’t even order the food. We are totally innocent,” she said.

DoorDash, meanwhile, said the driver’s account has been deactivated to avoid a repeat incident, as police confirmed the company is “cooperating” with the investigation.

“Everyone should feel safe in their own home, and what happened is not only incredibly frustrating but understandably frightening,” A DoorDash spokesperson told the outlet.

“Unsafe driving is not acceptable on the DoorDash platform, or anywhere else, and the Dasher’s account has been deactivated. We stand ready to work with law enforcement on any investigation.”

If found, the delivery driver faces charges for fleeing the scene of the crash, police said..
