Dora Fire explodes near Lancaster as Highway 138 completely shut down

A fast-moving wildfire broke out in Los Angeles County Thursday afternoon, forcing a highway closure and evacuation warnings.

The Dora Fire started in the community of Neenach near Lancaster, quickly growing to 750 acres, according to Cal Fire and Watch Duty.

The blazed caused the closure of Highway 138 from Lancaster Road and 120th Street West, Cal Fire reported.
