Elon Musk's ex-girlfriend Grimes has hit out at the 'blatant cultural horrors' on social media sites, including the 'dead bodies and Nazi stuff' on his platform X, formerly Twitter.
The 36-year-old singer, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, blamed 'destructive force capitalism' for ruining all platforms, but said that the issues could be repaired.
Taking to X, which is owned by Musk, 53, Grimes began claiming that Instagram had encouraged her to repost a picture she had uploaded of herself in a bikini, which she said, felt like 'grooming.'
She said: 'I feel like there's such massive blatant cultural horrors associated with every social media site that could be so easily fixed.
'Trying to find the screenshot but I literally got a note from Instagram saying people really liked my post and I should repost the literal only time I ever posted myself in a bikini which feels like literal grooming - if that was my kid I'd be filing a lawsuit.'
In another post, Grimes – who shares three children with Musk - continued: 'Crazy Instagram will pay you for anything besides creating - but call you a creator for recycling s**t other people created - as long as it's anonymous creativity (re: memes).
'Like yes repost things other people made and make surreptitious undetectable advertisements...'
She added: 'Literally see dead bodies and Nazi stuff on X.

'TikTok is a dopamine destroying foreign agent and the others are yet more foreign interference so this isn't directed specifically more so a lamentation.
'If anyone's enjoying "the lamentations of their women" I am the woman lamenting and the cause is the destructive force capitalism and competition exerts on our primary media sources.'
Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion in October 2022, and renamed it X.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Chinese officials were in talks with the mogul to broker a deal over TikTok, which risks being banned in the country on Sunday.
Last month, Grimes insisted that she wasn't dumped by Musk - and confirmed that she had been reunited with at least one of their three children.
The update came after she previously claimed Musk wouldn't let her see their kids.
Musk and Grimes dated from 2018 to 2022 and the former couple share two sons, X Æ A-Xii and Techno Mechanicus, as well as a daughter Exa Dark Sideræl together.
He has since become a prominent figure in MAGA spheres, having recently been appointed by president-elect Donald Trump to oversee the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Grimes revealed she has been left baffled by Musk's right-wing shift and claimed she has struggled amid their ongoing custody battle in Texas.
'Spent a year locked in battle in a state with terrible mothers' rights having my Instagram posts and modeling used as reasons I shouldn't have my kids and fighting and detaching from the love of my life as he becomes unrecognizable to me, with a fraction of his resources (or IQ/strategy experience),' she wrote on X.
'All the while I didn't see one of my babies for five months.
'And this is only what can be said publicly, since most of my experience these last years should remain behind closed doors.'
