Tim Walz, the former court jester for Kamala’s 2024 campaign and the current governor of the Somali fraud capital of the world, Minnesota, embarrassed himself (shocker) while showing off his golf skills (lack thereof) in a recent video posted on X.
You would think he learned his lesson from that time he tried pheasant hunting during the presidential campaign, fumbling around with his shotgun like a total greenhorn. Maybe don’t post a video of yourself on social media if you have no clue what you are doing. Clearly, Walz has not.
The Democratic governor posted a video golfing on what appears to be a “course” in northwest Minnesota. I say “course” because it is one of those places where there is no real fairway, the grass is cut like a basic suburban lawn, and the “green” is actually a circle of gravel and sand. This is how they do it in Minnesota, I guess?

— Governor Tim Walz (@GovTimWalz) August 8, 2026First of all, Walz’s golfing outfit is painfully gauche. He’s wearing heavy cargo pants and appears to be raw-dogging a sporty quarter zip with no undershirt. Again, I guess that’s the Minnesota way.
Second, his swing looks absurd. I have seen 90-year-old retirees in The Villages of Florida with more fluid and limber swings than that. The Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz would swing smoother. It is as if Walz hasn’t stretched since middle school gym class in 1975.
There is a lesson in this for all politicians, Democratic or Republican: unless you are genuinely good at something — whether it be a hobby or a sport or some other activity — do not post a video of yourself doing said activity on social media. It is never worth it. Your attempts to appear cool and down-to-earth will backfire. Every. Single. Time.
Like Tim Walz, you will always come off as a dork.
