Emma Roberts' father Eric has confirmed he did not attend her wedding to Cody John and released a statement amid their 'complicated' relationship.
The actress, 35, and partner John, 36, exchanged vows in Idaho with Emma's superstar aunt Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder in attendance, as well as stars Demi Moore, Kristen Stewart and Sarah Paulson.
Despite the star-studded guest list, Emma's actor father, 70, was noticeably absent as she was walked down the aisle by her son Rhodes, five, who she shares with ex Garrett Hedlund.
In a new statement shared with Page Six, her dad Eric said: 'I love my daughter, always have, always will.
'It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants.'
It is unclear why Eric was absent from his daughter's wedding or if he was even invited in the first place but the pair have had a 'complicated' relationship over the years.

Eric, who is the older brother of actress Julia Roberts, previously claimed they were not estranged and that their relationship 'is only complicated through outside eyes … because they don't get any of it.
'So they have their own take, whatever that is,' he told Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson.
Eric and ex-partner Kelly Cunningham welcomed Emma in February 1991 but separated just seven months later.
Emma looked breathtaking in a flowing white bridal gown as she wed Cody in a fun-filled Idaho ceremony over the weekend.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the bride wore a custom white gown with asymmetrical sleeves by Monique Lhuillier, as reported by Vogue – and was seen giggling as she exchanged vows with a dapper John.
Following the ceremony, the Wild Child star slipped into an archival afterparty dress by the designer.
And for his part, John was dressed in a brown suit.
Emma told Vogue about collaborating with Lhuillier on her gown: 'I didn’t really know what I wanted.
'I just knew that I wanted it to feel very vintage-inspired. I'm obsessed with antique books and treasure hunting, and I love collecting old ephemera, so I really wanted that to shine through in the dress.'
The night before the nuptials, Emma donned a beautiful white ballgown with layers of tulle to go bar-hopping with her loved ones after the rehearsal dinner.
The We're The Millers star was seen puffing on a cigarette as she chatted ahead of her big day.

Emma announced her engagement in 2024 with an Instagram post.
She flashed her diamond ring in a smiling snapshot with John, quipping in the caption: 'Putting this here before my mom tells everyone.'
The couple began dating in 2022, and John's sparse Instagram profile is mostly made up of tributes to Emma.
This past February he shared pictures of his then-fiancée and wrote, 'You make everything magic. Happy birthday, Emma,' to which she replied in the comments, 'I love you.'
The now-newlyweds previously confirmed their relationship in August 2022 after they were seen kissing in New York City.
Days later, the duo made things Instagram official with a photo John posted of them sharing a kiss on a yacht. The caption read: 'sweet sweet.'
Since then, the low-key couple have managed to keep their relationship private.
Before striking up her romance with John, Emma said she didn't want to date any more actors.
She told Flaunt: 'One day the veil was lifted and I didn't want to date actors anymore. It's hard, I think, for two actors to be together.'

She and her ex Hedlund were first linked in April 2019, after her quiet split from Dahmer star Evan Peters.
Emma and Evan publicly reunited in May 2026, seven years after they called off their engagement in a contentious split.
The exes stood next to each other onstage to promote the 13th season of American Horror Story.
