An "enormous explosion" has rocked an Essex village.
A large industrial unit fire has broken out in Southend Road between East Hanningfield and Rettendon.
Fire services have told locals to avoid the area.
The Essex Fire Service addressed the situation on their social media account.
They said: "We’re currently at the scene of large industrial unit fire in Southend Road between East Hanningfield and Rettendon.
"If you live or are travelling nearby, please keep your windows and doors closed.
"Please avoid the area if you can."
The East of England Ambulance Service has classified the incident as a "significant" event.

The explosions have reportedly been heard up to 12 miles away.
It is unknown if anyone was injured in the explosion.
The cause of the fire has also not been confirmed.
Emergency services remain on the scene.
The Essex County Fire and Rescue Service have focused on preventing the flames from spreading to neighbouring commercial units and farm properties.
Large plumes of black smoke are visible across the area.
They are drifting several miles and remaining clearly visible across south Essex, Chelmsford, and Maldon.
Southend Road is experiencing heavy disruption.
Residents have taken to social media to express their concern about the situation.
