Eric Trump says Kamala Harris should be 'disqualified' over claims her husband Doug Emhoff beat up his girlfriend and impregnated the family nanny.

The ex-president's son told the Daily Mail that the liberal mainstream media refuses to report the claims 'because they're in the pocket of the Democratic Party.'

'These stories are disqualifying and they won't allow them to be run because they'll do anything to have Kamala Harris win and they'll do anything to be anti-Donald Trump,' Eric said.

'The mainstream media has effectively become a lobbyist for the Democratic Party, they're all intertwined, they're all best friends.'

The second gentleman faces two grave allegations reported exclusively by the Mail - and largely ignored by major outlets, save for airing Emhoff's vague dismissal of 'distracting tabloid stories'.

The most serious claim is that Emhoff slapped his then-girlfriend so hard that she spun around in a booze-fueled assault at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012.

This was supported by three of the woman's friends in a report on October 2 and subsequently corroborated by the victim herself in another exclusive by the Mail on October 24.

The victim, a high-powered New York attorney who Daily Mail is naming only as 'Jane', initially declined to comment on the record.

But Emhoff's denial, and his alleged hypocrisy by claiming to be a feminist in media interviews, finally became too much for her.

'What's frightening for a woman that's been on the other end of it, is watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed,' Jane said.

'He's being held out to be the antithesis of who he actually is. And that is utterly shocking.'

The bombshell reports follow the Mail's first revelation in August that Emhoff impregnated the family nanny while married to his first wife Kerstin.

In response to the story about the nanny, Emhoff acknowledged 'tough times' in his marriage, while steering clear of the details.

Eric said: 'The media in this country is incredibly dishonest. I saw that story ... and that guy has a lot of other problems.'

Donald Trump's second son, head of the Trump Organization, said that there won't be mainstream media for much longer because Americans cannot trust them to report the news without political bias.

'I think traditional media is dying around the world and people don't trust it,' Eric said.

'You look at ABC News, you look at NBC News, you look at 60 Minutes - they will literally ask Kamala a question and edit it so she doesn't sound like a complete imbecile with a nonsensical answer.'

Eric was referring to Harris' 60 Minutes interview on October 7 which has seen the CBS network engulfed in scandal after a 'word salad' answer was edited out of the final cut. The network denied it acted nefariously but declined to release a full transcript.

ABC was similarly attacked over its apparent bias during the first presidential debate on September 10.

Conservative commentators claimed that the moderators continually fact-checked Trump while giving Harris a free pass. In addition, an anonymous whistleblower alleged ABC handed questions to the Harris campaign ahead of the debate.

'You saw the first debate, it was a three-on-one battle. My father wasn't just debating another presidential candidate, he was debating two moderators,' Eric said. 'It's unfair, the entire world knows. It's really gonna be the demise of the mainstream media in America.'
