David Beckham may bemoan the fact his wife lives on a diet of grilled fish and steamed vegetables – but Eva Longoria has revealed she makes a slap-up breakfast.
The former Desperate Housewives actress, 49, has a decades-long friendship with the fashion designer, 50, who rarely deviates from her strict diet.
But when it comes to breakfast, she has a talent for making a 'great'… egg whites and avocado.
‘She’s actually easy because we eat the same breakfast,’ Longoria said. ‘We both love egg whites and avocado. When we're together... she makes a great egg whites and avocado.
‘For dinner, she is definitely steamed fish. Steamed fish, steamed vegetables. She's easy. It's actually the opposite. She is actually easy, not difficult.’

It comes months after Victoria’s husband divulged details about her not so appealing diet on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, on which he said she has dined on grilled fish and steamed vegetables throughout their marriage.
‘I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I'm eating something great I want everyone to try it,’ he said.
'Unfortunately, I'm married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years. Since I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that.
'The only time she's probably ever shared something that's been on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper and it was the most amazing thing.
'It was one of my favorite evenings. I can't remember what it was, but I know she's not eaten it since.'
Victoria previously admitted that she won't eat food cooked in oil, butter or sauces, and she doesn't eat red meat or dairy.
Speaking on the same podcast, the designer said: 'To most restaurants I'm probably their worst nightmare. I love some steamed vegetables, some balsamic vinegar and then to season myself.
'I like things to be cooked in a very simple way. I don't like oils or butters or sauces. This is where I sound even more boring in the food department.'

Victoria also confessed her comfort food was a piece of whole grain toast with salt on it and on her birthday she celebrates with a fruit cake.
She said: 'I like whole grain toast with salt on it. It's that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted and I love salt.'
The former Spice Girl has previously opened up about her love of egg whites and avocado.
In 2017 she posted a video of herself dressed in a white robe as she whipped up the high protein breakfast for her team on a work trip in Boston.
Best friend Longoria’s diet is far more exciting than Victoria’s, with the philanthropist recently launching her own cookbook, My Mexican Kitchen: 100 Recipes Rich With Tradition, Flavor, and Spice.

'There's a lot of dishes I added because of my husband,' she said before revealing that she cooks tacos for her family three times a week.
'A family favorite is tacos and I know that's typical but I love a taco night,' she said. 'We could have taco night every night of the week... my family loves tacos.'
Longoria, who lives in Spain, said she does not have a private chef and likes to cook for her husband José Bastón and their six-year-old son Santiago, who she said will eat anything.
