Iowa State sophomore Audi Crooks captured the national spotlight on Wednesday night as she dominated Princeton in the women's March Madness First Four.

Crooks, a 6-foot-3 center, poured in 27 points and three rebounds for the No. 11 seed Cyclones as they beat Princeton to move into the first round.

And fans gushed about her performance afterwards following Iowa State's 68-63 win.

'Audi Crooks is so tuff man,' one said.

'Audi Crooks is such an efficient scorer maybe the best in WCBB and she barely gets talked about,' another chimed in.

'Rename the arena in Ames already,' a third said of the Cyclones' home court.

Crooks, seen earlier this month, is one of the most prolific scorers in women's college hoops

And a fourth made a bold prediction as they compared her to a former college star and WNBA All-Star.

'Gonna be better than Angel Reese,' they wrote.

Crooks has established herself as one most prolific scorers in women's college basketball this season, averaging 23.2 points per game to go along with 7.6 rebounds and 1.1 'stocks' (steals plus blocks) per contest.

And the Algona, Iowa native is no stranger to upping her play in March.

Including last year's trip to the NCAA Tournament, which ended with a loss to Stanford in the second round, Crooks has averaged a staggering 25.7 points per game in March Madness.

She'll hope to keep that form up on Friday when her Cyclones face No. 6 Michigan at Notre Dame's Joyce Center.

The game tips off at 11:30am Eastern time and the Wolverines are the favorites to move into the second round.
