While it may have been Vice President JD Vance's special day on Monday, it was really the rest of his family who stole the show in a series of adorable moments during Donald Trump's inauguration events - and it was 'relatable' for many fellow parents watching.

Vance and his wife, Usha, are parents to three young children - sons Ewan Blaine, seven, and Vivek, four, as well as daughter Mirabel Rose, three.

The three kids made multiple appearances with their parents on Monday, first arriving in style to their father's swearing in at the United States Capitol Rotunda alongside Vance's mother, Beverly Aikins.

Ewan and Vivek wore matching navy blue suits for the grand occasion.

While Vance was being sworn in, Usha stood beside him, carrying Mirabel in her arms.

In an adorable moment, the tot stuck her thumb in her mouth as her dad was taking the oath.

Her fingers were also covered in Band-Aids, which many social media users agreed was 'so sweet,' as many toddlers wear them at that age.

'I remember the Band-Aid era with my kids. So cute,' one person wrote in the comments section of a TikTok video that captured the moment.

In one photo, their sons were seen sitting by dad, slumped over the balcony, with Vivek sweetly clutching a teddy bear

Another agreed, 'Too cute, us moms understand it's real.'

'Moms everywhere understand,' someone else chimed in.

The kids also had another moment in the spotlight during Trump's inaugural parade later in the day, as they looked bored and tired from all of the festivities.

In one photo, the boys were seen sitting by their dad, slumped over the balcony, with Vivek sweetly clutching a teddy bear.

And, in a hilarious moment during the parade, which was captured on TikTok, Ewan appeared to pat his father on the head before proceeding to do the same to his mom.

Usha smiled at her son, but appeared to tell him to stop, as she tried to put her hair back into place.

However, the scene totally charmed social media users yet again, as they took to the comments of the video to share how just how much they could connect to the family.

'Every mother in the world knows what she was feeling,' someone typed.

On TikTok, many social media users could relate to the sweet moments with their kids at the inauguration

Another remarked, 'I love it because this is the American family, this is our life and they get it.'

One TikTok user agreed, 'I know it was probably such a long day for those kids. Usha handled this so gracefully.'

'As a mom-of-three I feel this,' someone else shared.

A second wrote, 'I know she had to be stressinggg but it's refreshing to see kids just be kids.'

At age 40, Vance will be the youngest vice president since the 40-year-old Richard Nixon entered office in 1953.

The last time that young children lived in the Vice Presidential residence, which spans over 9,000 square ft., was in 1993 Al and Tipper Gore were in office.

The Vance children will have access to a grand 33-room home with a wraparound porch, grand staircases and elegant turrets.

Second Ladies, typically in a different stage of life, usually have signature issues they focus their talents on as their husbands serve the president.

Vance's wife Usha's primary focus, however, will be on her family and young children.

'Giving them a stable, normal, and happy life and upbringing is the most important thing to us,' she told Fox and Friends in a rare interview in July, saying it would be a priority to 'let them have their lives as children and let them spend lots of time with their father.'
