Multiple witnesses claimed they saw the suspect shoot Thomas and take off, according to Fox4.
King also said: 'I went out the door and said, 'Where did the lady go?' And they pointed in the direction where she went. I saw her through the glass doors, and so I just started running after her.

'My girl she’s strong. She’s resilient. She’s a fighter. She will sing and soar and she’ll be even better when she gets back on her feet,' he added.
