Widely celebrated as the “Beauty of Four Thousand Years”, Ju Jingyi is a Chinese singer, actress, and dancer best known for her ethereal aura and as a former member of the idol group SNH48.
Her make-up style and enchanting presence have also established her as a style icon among female fans throughout China.
Born in 1994 in Suining, Sichuan province in southwestern China, Ju made her official debut with the idol group in November 2013, following an extensive arts education from childhood.
SNH48 is a prominent Chinese idol girl group based in Shanghai, featuring dozens of female members around the age of 20 who perform regularly at the group’s own theatre and engage with fans.
Ju’s career swiftly ascended as she secured fourth place in the 2014 SNH48 general election and second place in 2015, attracting a substantial fan base with her exceptional singing, dancing skills, and captivating personality.
The annual election allowed fans to vote for their favourite SNH48 members, with the results determining the line-up for the next album and influencing the resources allocated to each member in the following year.
