The polls have been open for more than 13 hours in the US as more than 244 million eligible American voters decide whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will be their next president.
Election Day 2024 will also decide whether the Democrats or the Republicans control Congress.
While voting continues in some parts of the country, this is what has been happening since the polls opened on Tuesday morning:
Earliest wins:
Trump has won Kentucky for the third consecutive time, according to Associated Press (AP). This will bring him eight electoral college votes. The news agency has also called India for Trump, giving him another 11 college votes.
Trump has also won in West Virginia, adding another four electoral college votes, AP is reporting.
