A forklift driver narrowly dodged death after a stack of shipping containers toppled onto his vehicle at Singapore’s Pasir Panjang Terminal.
The horrific ordeal happened in the early hours of the morning on November 25 - leaving the 37-year-old worker in hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
According to officials, the Malaysian man suffered lacerations to his head and body.
The terrifying clip showed the moment that the forklift attempted to move a container, before a column of five stacked containers suddenly collapsed on top of him as he reversed.
Video showed that the container at the very top of the unstable lot fell directly on top of the forklift's cabin - causing the driver to crash to the ground.
His conscious body was seen flopping to the ground upon impact, just before 7am.
Since the accident, The Ministry of Manpower has launched an investigation - and warned others in the trade to remember the importance of adhering to proper stacking practices.
Dozens of people reacted to the shocking clip online. One person wrote: 'He should have stopped pulling out the container as soon as he saw the others behind the item pulling out as well! Hope he survives and wish him speedy recovery.'
