Police arrested former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on Thursday night in Milwaukee for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Romo’s vehicle was stopped as he traveled southbound on 1-43 on a high-rise bridge, according to police. An arrest detention report stated that the football star failed field sobriety tests, FOX6 News reported. Romo attended Burlington High School in Burlington, Wisconsin, where he was a three-sport athlete playing football, basketball and golf.
After retiring from football, Romo joined CBS News where he works as a lead NFL broadcaster.
Romo is due to appear in court Sept. 21.
