Former Donald Trump fixer Michael Cohen says he is making contingency plans to gain citizenship of another country in the event his former boss regains the White House.

Cohen, who has become a Trump nemesis and was a star witness who testified against him at the Stormy Daniels trial that resulted in a 34-count conviction.

He told MSNBC his former boss has become 'the absolute worse version of himself imaginable.'

He said Trump 'was always bad' but has hit a  who has 'surrounded himself from the worst of the worst imaginable' and has now hit 'a whole new low.'

If Trump wins, 'I’m out of here,' said Cohen, speaking Tuesday at a time when Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are essentially tied in the polls.

He said he was 'already working on a foreign passport with a completely different name.'

'I have no choice,' he told Nicole Wallace in an interview.

Former Donald Trump Fixer said he is working on getting a foreign passport under a different name, and says he will leave the country if Donald Trump wins reelection

'I don’t know how it is going to work as far as dealing with my wife and my children. I certainly don’t want them moving to where I’m looking to go. And I don’t think ... you saw the president of the MSNBC, General [Mark] Milley, [former Rep.] Liz Cheney, how many people he has turned around and said that "these are people that I intend to go after if I have the ability to,"' he added.

He also pointed to the Supreme Court's decision on presidential immunity, calling it a 'get out of jail free card solely for the president.'

Cohen, who spent years working as Trump's legal attack dog but has now become a prominent critic through his podcast and social media posts, also tore into the people he said Trump has surrounded himself.

He name-checked several Trump staffers as well as 'shady Vance,' a reference to Sen. J.D. Vance.

'The whole group of them. They are a whole group of racist and sexist. We're know their misogynistic and homophobic and islamophobia and transphobic, they're anti-semitic. What else could you possibly be?' he said.

'And one of them may not be all those, but each and every one of them has Donald's ear and we used to say at the Trump org: 'The last guy in the ear controls the brain.' And that is why he acts out with ridiculous comments and making these absolutely stupid, stupid remarks.'

Trump railed against Cohen during the Stormy Daniels trial

Trump has made a series of statements vowing 'revenge' against opponents, and has recently threatened to go after people who 'cheat' in the election, spelling out a wide category of potential targets.

'WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences,' Trump posted on his Truth Social site. 'Please beware that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials.'

'Well, revenge does take time. I will say that,' Trump told Dr. Phil McGraw in an interview in June. 'And sometimes revenge can be justified, Phil, I have to be honest. You know, sometimes it can.'

It isn't clear how Cohen's criminal conviction (he completed a three-year sentence after pleading guilty to tax and campaign finance violations) might affect his efforts to get a foreign passport.
