Having threatened to leave the country if Kamala Harris prevailed, former NFL star Le'Veon Bell is on cloud nine after Donald Trump was re-elected as president.
Trump has pulled off an astonishing political comeback after demolishing Harris in the polls to become only the second president in history to win a non-consecutive second term.
Bell, a passionate Trump supporter who joined him on his campaign trail in the lead-up to the election, had promised to pack his bags and leave America if the Republican nominee came up short.
And following his resounding victory, the ex-Pittsburgh Steelers running back couldn't resist poking fun at Harris fans who were telling him to prepare to bid farewell to the country.
'Y'all thought I was about to go somewhere?!' he said before laughing in a video message on X. 'Joke's on you! Joke's on you!'

'I ain't going nowhere,' Bell continued. 'I'm here to make America great. Donald Trump for President!'
Trump is on course to win all seven key battleground states in the election, which will mark a catastrophic failure for Harris and the Democrats.
The 78-year-old is set to become the oldest president ever inaugurated, beating President Joe Biden's current record by five months.
Bell, who sparked outrage by wearing a shirt with a vile message about Harris before the election, added in his video: 'Y'all thought I was crazy, y'all thought I was tripping.
'"Oh, Le'Veon Bell, man, he a c**n. Le'Veon Bell, he got CTE." Oh, do I? Or do you!'
Bell and former Steelers teammate Antonio Brown ramped up support for Trump when they attended one of his rallies in Pennsylvania a month before the election.
The duo also greeted the Republican nominee when he touched down for a recent NFL game between the Steelers and the New York Jets in Pittsburgh, where they were seen registering voters outside the stadium.
