Fortnite’s 34.20 update is arriving on March 25 to launch Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3 along with some major additions to the main Battle Royale modes.

The new Fortnite OG season, titled Brace For Impact, is the main focus of the content additions, but there are also various new weapons and items. These include the highly anticipated Chain Dart Mythic for the iconic Mortal Kombat character Scorpion, six Exotic weapons, and weapons being unvaulted and vaulted.

Epic Games has confirmed the release date for the highly anticipated Fortnite OG Season, Brace For Impact, through the launch trailer for Season 3. The short video also revealed a wealth of details, including new skins, in-game events, and much more.

OG Battle Pass skins

The trailer for Brace For Impact hints at a remixed version of the iconic Dark Voyager skin, blending elements with Power Chord, both of which originally debuted in 2018 during Chapter 1 Season 3.

Following the trend set by the first two OG seasons, which featured a mix of remixed and new skins, this season is expected to do the same. Here’s the full list of skins likely to appear in the upcoming OG Battle Pass:

Live event

The teaser trailer revealed a meteor shower reflected in the astronaut skin’s visor, hinting at the next Fortnite event: a meteor live event for the OG season. Scorpion Mythic and skin

Scorpion’s arrival to Fortnite with his new Mythic weapon is imminent.

Scorpion’s Chain Dart Mythic is said to function similarly to the Chain of Hades weapon from the Greek Mythology-themed season of Chapter 5 Season 2.

However, the upcoming Mortal Kombat-inspired version, tailored for Scorpion’s arrival, will introduce distinct fiery abilities linked to the iconic character. Players will be able to throw the Chain Dart, much like the Hades chain, but with an added fiery twist that makes it uniquely Scorpion’s.

He is also expected to get his skins and cosmetics as part of a Scorpion bundle, including a Mortal Kombat car body skin, as well as receive his own NPC character on the Chapter 6 Season 2 map.
