Fortnite just let slip its next weapon changes. A news tab update leaked which guns are getting vaulted and which ones are making a comeback ahead of time.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, aka “LAWLESS,” has been a mythic-lover’s dream. The Black Market system lets players grab top-tier weapons like never before. Outlaw Keycards unlock even bigger loot in secret backrooms – as long as you complete the quest.
Plus, the POIs on the Chapter 6 Season 2 map only make you feel like a slick criminal. Crime City, Magic Mosses, and Masked Meadow have become hotspots for high-stakes showdowns.
The mythic lineup this season is stacked. The Falcon Eye Sniper, Baron’s Double Down Pistol, and the Lawless Blink Pump & Dump are just a few. We’ve been running wild with the most powerful arsenal Fortnite has ever seen, but that roster is set to get a shake-up.
Chapter 6 Season 2 next update weapons revealed by mistake
By checking the Fortnite news tab in-game, you could see a card that revealed the following weapons are to be vaulted and unvaulted when the next update drops:
- VAULTED: Holo Twister AR & Sentinel Pump
- UNVAULTED: Scoped Burst SMG, Twin Mag AR & Infiltrator Pump
The Holo Twister in particular is massively used this season, so we can expect a huge change in meta once again. Chapter 6 Season 2 has gone from Kneecappers dominating the map to campers patiently waiting in the underground Black Markets to one-shot you – unless you’ve got a Pulse Scanner. Now, we may be witnessing its third shift, as one player declared, “Change the WHOLE meta in the middle of the season .”
Some other players expressed frustration over the changes.
One insisted, “I speak for the universe when I say we do not want to see the Infiltrator Shotgun ever in the game again.”
A third questioned, “Why vault the Holo Twister?????? Who voted for that.”
Fortnite’s been playing the long game this chapter. Unlike Chapter 5’s four-season run, Chapter 6 is stretching to six. With these mid-season shake-ups, it looks like Epic is keeping things fresh for the long haul.
