The 2026 Esports World Cup is heading towards its closing point, but there are still some big games set to wrap up, including Fortnite. Here’s what you need to know.

After six successful weeks in Paris, France, the 2026 Esports World Cup is quickly coming to a close. Champions have been crowned in almost every game, with just a handful still left to be decided – as well as the overall club championship.

In the final week, some of the focus will be on Counter-Strike 2, Trackmania, and the Fortnite Reload Championship – with qualifiers from all across the globe looking to hit it rich.

There is a total of $1,025,000 up for grabs during the action in Epic Games’ battle royale, with the top team taking home $260,000, as well as 1000 EWC club points. So, there is a lot on the line.

Fortnite at EWC 2026: How does it work?

The action kicks off on August 19, with 40 teams being split into two groups of 20 teams. They’ll play 10 games per group, with top seven automatically advancing to the finals.

If you fall between the eighth to 17th positions, you’ll move into the survival stage, giving you a second chance. However, only the top six in the survival stage will progress to the finals.

Points are awarded based on kills, placements, and, of course, winning. In the finals, teams have to hit 350 points and claim a Victory Royale to end up as the overall winners.

Fortnite at EWC 2026 streams

Just like the rest of the Esports World Cup, you’ll be able to watch action across YouTube and Twitch.

The official channels are the best place to watch every single second of the action, but there will be plenty of watch parties to follow too.

Again, there are 40 teams taking part in the event, but not everyone will be reprensing the org you usually know them for, as some clubs have multiple duos qualified.

Twisted Minds’ Acorn and Boltz are one of these, as are Yassen and SaLVa from Vision Esports, Rew and Moda from RVL Esports, Alex and Wreckless from PWR, as are Oatley and Spookz from JOGO.

The complete list of duos can be found below.
