Fortnite players are already thirsting over Yoruichi’s new Bleach skin

Fortnite has given players their first look at Yoruichi Shihouin’s upcoming Bleach skin, and the fan-favorite character has already become the game’s latest thirst trap.

The skin is part of Fortnite’s second Bleach crossover wave, which will also introduce Kisuke Urahara. The original collaboration launched in December 2025 with Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue, and Uryu Ishida.

Yoruichi is a former captain of the Soul Society’s Second Division and one of Bleach’s most popular characters. Nicknamed the Flash Goddess for her incredible speed, she is also known for transforming into a black cat and fighting alongside Urahara.

While the first wave left her out, the French Fortnite account shared the first look at Yoruichi’s model on August 4. The initial design is relatively tame compared to some of her appearances in Bleach, but that has not stopped players from losing it.

Players beg Fortnite not to “nerf” Yoruichi

Yoruichi has appeared in several suggestive outfits and poses throughout the Bleach manga and anime, with the series regularly leaning into fan service involving the character.

Her Shunko: Raijin Senkei form is particularly revealing, giving her lightning-based feline features and placing her in low-to-the-ground, cat-like poses. Viz recently showcased the form in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3.

Fortnite’s first look is considerably more restrained. However, it may not represent everything included with the skin.

Earlier details shared by HYPEX claimed Yoruichi will receive regular and ninja styles alongside a back bling, pickaxe, emote, and wrap. The leaker also separately reported that a Shunko: Raijin Senkei style is coming, although Fortnite has not shown the alternate looks yet.

Players are already hoping Epic Games does not tone those designs down too heavily. “Do the least amount of nerfing to our thunder goddess, Fortnite! We beg of you,” one Reddit user wrote.

“I’m buying Yoruichi as soon as she’s on the store,” another declared. One player immediately recognized the pattern, writing: “Oh look, sounds like another thirst trap skin.”

The reaction follows Fortnite’s recent release of swimsuit skins for Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, which similarly caught players’ attention. Marvel Rivals has also repeatedly sparked these conversations, most recently with Captain America’s “caked up” summer skin.

Yoruichi and Kisuke are expected to enter the Fortnite Item Shop on August 7 at 8 PM ET. Epic Games has not announced pricing for either skin.
