Watters regularly pulls double duty at Fox News, hosting “Jesse Watters Primetime” while also occupying one of the conservative seats on the network’s afternoon panel show, “The Five.” His frequent appearances have made any extended absence noticeable to viewers, particularly when a substitute takes his place on “The Five.” Watters had offered the “assignment” explanation before disappearing from his usual programs, leaving fans to wonder what Fox had sent him to cover.

The mystery evaporated when Watters’ wife, Emma, shared an Instagram photograph Tuesday showing the entire family. The picture featured Watters and Emma alongside Sophie and Ellie, his twin daughters from his first marriage, and Jesse Jr. and Georgina, the two children he shares with Emma. Emma captioned the photograph with one word: “LIV,” identifying the setting as a LIV Golf event.

As Trending Politics News reported, the family appeared to be attending the LIV Golf Invitational Series in Bedminster, New Jersey. Viewers treated the discovery as an opportunity to rib the Fox News host for dressing up a family vacation as an “assignment.”

Other viewers focused on the conflict between Watters’ cover story vs the photo posted by his wife that busted him. “Ahhh now I know why your husband wasn’t at work!
