A fugitive sports betting star uploaded pictures showing off his lavish life in Thailand after failing to attend a court hearing in Las Vegas.
David Oancea, known as 'Vegas Dave,' was meant to appear in court on August 13 to be arrested after being held in contempt for not turning over his multi-million dollar assets.
Oancea, 49, was ordered to pay $30.2 million last July to Mexican vacation rental agency Cabo Platinum, which alleged he had sabotaged reservations for his properties in their country.
Oancea had been told to relinquish his Hermès Birkin bags, crypto holdings and $400,000 Richard Mille watch, as well as three luxury villas in Los Cabos, Mexico.
However, the influential bettor allegedly never did so and he skipped court earlier this month.
Oancea appeared on Showtime's 2019 sports gambling TV docuseries Action and has maintained an active social media presence since then, most recently sharing ritzy shots of his opulent travels in Thailand's Ko Samui island.
In a slideshow posted Tuesday for his 9.1 million Instagram followers, Oancea showed himself posing next to a jet and later relaxing at a picturesque beachside villa featuring a lit-up pool.
Other videos showed Oancea traveling on the aircraft, as well as on a high-speed boat at while he looked intently at the camera.

'Ko Samui, Asia is the best,' Oancea captioned the photos, which he shared with no further explanation.
Oancea first posted himself in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, on Monday.
He then shared a video arriving to the Samui Airport alongside shots of extravagant meals.
The Vegas figure also touted an 'early bird' package for NFL and college football bets, filming a video while at a beach with crystal clear water.
'Send me an email and jump on the money train,' Oancea said in the video.
By Thursday morning, Oancea was sharing an assortment of food and culture shots from Tokyo, Japan.
In one photo, Oancea donned a black Burberry shirt and a black chain while smiling next to a Japanese geisha.
It was not clear if Oancea was currently in Tokyo. The US has an extradition agreement with both Japan and Thailand.

Clark County District Judge Joe Hardy ordered an arrest warrant for Oancea on August 13 after he no-showed court.
Oancea was scheduled in court to be taken into custody after being held in contempt for not turning over his multimillion dollar assets.
His attorney, Alexander LeVeque, said Oancea had 'been apprised of the contempt order' after he did not turn up in court, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Oancea was ordered to pay $30.2 million last July to Cabo Platinum, a Mexican vacation rental agency alleging that he was sabotaging reservations for his properties in the country.
District Judge Timothy Williams had told Oancea to relinquish his Hermès Birkin bags, crypto holdings and $400,000 Richard Mille watch, as well as three luxury villas around Los Cabos, Mexico.
The sports bettor was meant to do so within two weeks of a hearing last September but then alleged that the properties no longer belonged to him.
Oancea testified during the six-day evidentiary trial, but parts of his testimony were found to be 'false,' per the contempt order issued July 17 by District Judge Tara Clark Newberry.
The order said Oancea had demonstrated 'willful noncompliance' with his behavior.
Just days before Judge Newberry's order, Oancea posted an Instagram video of himself landing in Bora Bora.
'Wheels up,' he captioned the post, showing his view from the window of an apparent private jet.
As of Thursday morning, Oancea was posting shots of himself in Tokyo, Japan on his public Instagram account
It was not immediately clear if Oancea was currently in Japan as he continued sharing photos of his travels around Southeast Asia

Judge Newberry also offered Oancea two options to 'purge' his contempt status.
The first option required the influential bettor to give up the luxury bags and watch, or cash in lieu, as well as more than $375,000 in cryptocurrency.
A power of attorney agreement would also give Cabo Platinum principal Mishan Andre authority over his interests in the Mexican properties.
Otherwise, Oancea would have to surrender and stay behind bars until compliant.
He was originally set to surrender on August 6 but that was delayed for one week as the Nevada Supreme Court evaluated an emergency filing from Oancea.
One day before Oancea's scheduled surrender, the state Supreme Court ruled against pausing the contempt order.
When he did not show up in court, Judge Hardy said he would issue a no-bail bench warrant for Oancea.
