A furious customer has blasted Amazon for a delivery which left her child crying.
Kayla Prasek posted a TikTok video earlier this week showing Ring doorbell footage of how Amazon delivered a package without the standard brown delivery box.
The video shows her young daughter finding the delivery, which was a Barbie Dreamhouse intended to be a Christmas present for her.
When she excitedly tells her parents of her discovery, Kayla tells her daughter that the gift is not for her, so as not to ruin the Christmas surprise.
Instead, she says she bought the Dreamhouse to donate to children who do not have any presents.
The video, which has received more than half a million views, ends with the girl bursting into tears, and her brother and mom consoling her.
An overlay on the video, which Kayla posted under her handle @prasektok, reads: '@Amazon you can’t be sending stuff without a box THIS close to Christmas.'

While Amazon is known for its brown cardboard shipping boxes, the company maintains the policy that some products will ship in their own packaging, The Daily Dot reported.
According to Amazon's website, items that are most frequently shipped in their own packaging include diapers, furniture, office products, clothing, and sports items.
For shoppers who want to avoid this mishap, there is an option to select 'ship in Amazon packaging' for some items at checkout.
'We will send the item in an Amazon package at no additional cost,' the website reads.
'For larger items that can't be shipped in an Amazon package, consider selecting a different delivery address, to ensure the item remains a surprise.'
But many commenters on the video said that they were unaware of this policy, and had also had surprises ruined by Amazon deliveries.

'Oh that happened to us one year,' one commenter wrote.
'The nice postal worker handed my daughter her American Girl Doll and said "this must be for you". One week before Christmas. I was flabbergasted.'
