A Kentucky teacher was arrested after she allegedly molested a boy at a juvenile detention center and asked him to murder her husband.
Elena Bardin, 27, a school teacher who was assigned to teach at Adair Juvenile Detention Center, was caught after a 'routine search' of the juvenile's room on March 27.
Inside his living quarters, letters and explicit photographs were found in his possession, according to the Kentucky State Police.
Within the evidence, detectives said they discovered the school teacher had 'solicited a male juvenile to kill her husband.'
'Evidence also revealed that Ms. Bardin had subjected the juvenile to illegal sexual contact and provided him with sexually explicit images of herself,' the state police's press release stated.
The mother-of-one was charged with solicitation of murder, sexual abuse and distribution of obscene matter to a minor. She was arrested on Wednesday.
She was booked into jail and no bond was set, jail records showed.
Bardin's LinkedIn showed she previously worked as a camp counselor at Camp Loucon from 2016 to 2017.

It is unclear how long Bardin worked at the juvenile detention center, why she allegedly wanted to murder her husband or why the boy was locked up.
Recently, a Chicago teacher was arrested after she allegedly raped a 15-year-old student.
Christina Formella, 30, was arrested earlier this month during a traffic stop after allegedly targeting a young student at Downers Grove South High School in Chicago.
In newly released footage, Formella was seen being approached by police as she sat in her car next to her husband and college sweetheart Michael.
The teacher appeared confused as an officer walked up to her window and ordered her to get out, saying: 'I know you're confused, I'll explain everything to you.'
'Is she going somewhere?' her husband asked, leading the cop to ask her to pick up her belongings and walk to the back of the vehicle.
Formella turned grey as the officer explained she was the subject of an 'investigation,' realizing she had not been pulled over for a routine traffic stop.
It comes after court records were released that allegedly revealed text messages Formella had sent with the 15-year-old.

It is unclear why Bardin wanted to allegedly murder her husband (pictured together), nor why the boy was locked up
Formella, who was a special education and soccer coach, told the young student in one exchange: 'I love you sooooo much baby… Even though this morning was short, it was perfect.' 'I know baby it was perfect baby so perfect,' the student wrote back.
'I love having sex with you,' Formella is accused of replying, in texts first reported by local CW affiliate, WGNTV.
'I know baby I love it so much… It feels so good… It's so passionate... It's so intimate … It's so perfect,' the student replied.
