God of War Laufey pre-orders fling open on September 29 at 10am local time, months ahead of the game’s February 16, 2027 launch.
The hotly anticipated sequel hands the axe to Faye, Kratos’ late wife, and drops her into the Everywhen with an enchanted Serpent Bow in hand. Since Santa Monica Studio revealed the project in June, details have trickled out slowly, so this is the first real chance fans have had to claim a slice of the action.
If what you’ve seen so far in the trailers, plus Christopher Judge’s promise that the game will blow you away, is enough to convince you, you can pre-order God of War Laufey starting September 29, 2026.

As per Sony’s blog, you can get a series of benefits for pre-ordering the regular and digital edition of God of War Laufey:

The real showpiece, though, is Faye’s Serpent Bow, which shifts between a full-aim precision mode, where charged shots can stack up to five arrows, and a mobile half-aim hip-fire stance built for close-quarters clusters.
You can swap between arrow types for rapid fire, explosive detonations, and multi-target volleys, while different Scales reshape the bow’s look and perks. Faye’s armor, blade, and Catalyst artifacts all feed into the same build-crafting loop.
Santa Monica Studio also dropped fresh screenshots of the Everywhen to sweeten the announcement, and fans will be thrilled to know more news is promised before launch.
But God of War seems to be thriving even beyond the video game world, as Amazon revealed Dave Bautista will be playing Kratos himself in the upcoming TV show adaptation of this popular Greek-to-Norse mythology video game franchise.
