It looks like the weight loss industry has a new target customer - Golden Globes watchers.

During Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards, the focus was not only on the actors themselves, but the seemingly endless weight loss commercials that seemed to be peppered in the program's breaks.

By the time the awards show was in full swing, CBS had already shown commercials for Ozempic, Mounjaro and Weight Watchers.

Over the past few years, GLP-1 medications, which have historically been used to treat type 2 diabetes, have become extremely popularized as a weight-loss aid after they were approved by the FDA.

Ozempic contains a compound called semaglutide, which 'mimics the GLP-1' hormone, according to UCLA Health, a hormone that can work with your brain to suppress your appetite and make you feel fuller more quickly.

When it's taken in a high dose, combined with diet and exercise, it can help people lose weight.

In Hollywood, it's particularly taken off, with celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Sharon Osbourne, and Rebel Wilson all having admitted to taking a weight loss drug.

But now, their commercials have started to creep into the Golden Globes - and fans on X have taken notice.

But now, their commercials have appeared to creep into the Golden Globes - and fans on X have taken notice.

'Every other commercial during the Golden Globes being for weight loss injections is so cool I love it,' one user wrote.

Another agreed, typing, 'Watching the Globes stream and Americans literally have an Mounjaro (Ozempic) ad….. that country is sooo,' along with a meme from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

'Love the Ozempic commercial. The “it’s ok to be fat and body positivity era is over” you look disgusting take Ozempic you fat pieces of s***' someone else cracked.

One X user penned, 'The Golden Globes Sponsored by: Ozempic and Botox.'

'Well done Lilly marketing Mounjaro during the Golden Globes,' another seconded.

Even host Nikki Glaser made a joke about the GLP-1 medication in her opening monologue, telling the audience that it was 'Ozempic's biggest night.'

Glaser's monologue at The Golden Globes kicked off the first awards show of the season.

The annual awards show, which takes place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrates some of the most popular TV shows and movies this year.
