A huge, multi-house estate right on the coast of Maine has just hit the market for a shockingly low price.

The sprawling 20-acre property that boasts five bedrooms and six bathroom and is located in the quaint seaside community of Addison has been listed for only $1.675 million.

'It's just a great property for privacy and spectacular oceanfront,' Steve Shelton, the property's listing agent, told Bangor Daily News

The main house, mostly furnished in a bohemian style, has a wrap-around wooden deck that includes a jacuzzi and lawn chairs.

The granite countertop ritzy kitchen comes equipped with a dishwasher, washer and dryer, four-burner stovetop, microwave, double-door refrigerator and two cushioned bar chairs.

Complete with wood tile flooring and fiberglass roofing, the house also features a baseboard heating system, walk-in closets and a satellite dish.

There is one full bath built in the basement, one on the first floor, two on the second floor and two half baths on the first floor.

The deal of a listing also includes a main house, an in-law apartment above its garage and six lots in total

The living room is fitted with a stone fireplace, multiple sofa sets and coffee tables.

This 2011-built compound also has a heated garage with space for three cars, parking spaces for about 10 vehicles outside and an additional 800-square-foot space.

The in-law apartment also comes with six bedrooms and four baths built over the detached garage.

The apartment also has its own living room that has been modeled off the one in the main house and has its own fireplace.

Past owners have rented out the lavish apartment on a weekly basis during the popular tourist months.

New owners will also get to hike the Ingersoll Preserve trails that are located right next to the property.

Water-lovers will also be able to kayak or hire private boat tours right from the beach that is connected to the property.

Special amenities also include a wine cellar, gorgeous wooden staircases and multiple flat screen TVs.

But while the property is a real estate gem, Shelton revealed that the property has sat on the market for six months.

Local buyers say it's too expensive - given that the average home in Addison is about $200,000.

Luxury buyers have also said the house's hour and a half commute from Bangor's airport making them feel that it's pretty far out.

The agent added that buyers are also waiting for interest rates to come down.

'It's the perfect place for an artist type, or anyone who wants to 'pick up and park' in a beautiful, more remote area of Maine for a price with no peer in southern sections of Maine's coasts,' he said.

'There's zero inventory for that kind of property in Maine, you'd think it would be gobbled right up right now.

'If this was down by Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, on MDI, that property would be $5 million.'

The Better Homes and Gardens realtor also revealed that the compound's current owners love their home but found it hard to be so remote.

New data shows that a more buyer-friendly real estate market might be right on the horizon as median list prices have decreased at around 10 percent in several cities including Miami, Cincinnati, Kansas City and Austin.
