Gotti grandson’s prison reprieve in doubt after he fails to donate kidney to ailing mom on time

John Gotti’s grandson is begging a Brooklyn judge for more time before being hauled off to jail even after skipping the deadline to give ailing mom Victoria one of his kidneys because he says she’s too sick.

Convicted COVID-fund scammer Carmine Agnello, 39, had promised the judge that he’d undergo the organ transplant by Monday if the jurist would push back his surrender date, originally Aug.10, to Sept. 18.

But the infamous former Gambino crime-family boss’s grandkid told the court Tuesday that the surgery was scuttled at the last minute because of his ailing 63-year-old mother’s “serious infection requiring a battery of antibiotics.”

“Mr. Agnello stands ready to provide the donation and simply awaits word of a greenlight of surgery,” wrote the convicted scammer’s lawyer, Robert Beltrani, to the judge.

Agnello needs Judge Nusrat Choudhury’s approval for the two-month pokey reprieve to stay in place, so long as he goes through with the surgery this week, which he claimed he has “high hopes” will happen.

Prosecutors with the Brooklyn US Attorney’s Office have repeatedly argued that that the situation does not warrant any leniency from the court and have noted that Agnello could give up the kidney behind bars.

The admitted fraudster has pleaded guilty to skimming Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the Small Business Administration that were meant to help companies bounce back from the pandemic shutdown. 

He was ordered to pony up $1.2 million in restitution.

Victoria Gotti, daughter of the late John Gotti and star of 2004 reality TV show, “Growing Up Gotti,” praised her son for agreeing to give up a kidney in a letter sent to the judge in advance of her son’s April sentencing hearing, writing, “He is giving me the GIFT OF LIFE.”

Prosecutors and Judge Choudhury had yet to respond to Agnello’s letter to the court as of Tuesday afternoon.
