Grim video and photos show authorities pulling from the water the doomed small white motorboat that capsized off Liberty Island in New York Harbor late Saturday, killing a mom and her infant daughter.
The footage, obtained by The Post, captures the craft, a 22-foot bowrider with front seating, being hauled from the drink by an NYPD harbor boat.
Exclusive pictures also show the police boat making its way across the harbor after recovering the capsized vessel, which flipped over while dangerously overcrowded with 14 people on board just before 10 p.m. Saturday, according to police sources.
Two passengers, 5-month-old Antonella Garcia and her mother, Sara Sanchez, 27, of College Point, Queens, are confirmed to have died in the tragedy.
Sanchez’s boyfriend, who was the baby’s father, was on board the boat when it flipped over, according to sources.
The boat’s captain, Manuel Hernandez, 46, of Manhattan was charged with 13 counts of reckless endangerment over the incident, with further charges pending, according to sources.
Another 11 passengers were recovered from the water during the incident and taken to local hospitals with minor injuries on Saturday night.
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
