A new game on Steam, Paradise, looks a lot like GTA and its developers have been advertising that players can meet up with AI-generated NPCs of top streamers in the game.
First announced back in 2022, Paradise promises limitless possibilities, realistic graphics, crypto, and advanced AI throughout the game.
In its reveal trailer, the game mentioned AI-generated influencers, including some of the biggest names on the internet. It was set to release on Tuesday, April 2, in early access, but the developers never published the title on Steam or Epic Games. They did, however, release a demo on that date.
Users have continued to call out the Paradise developers for the lack of release, with some calling it a scam across social media and YouTube.
Paradise is cloning top streamers with AI without consent
“Play and talk with real influencers powered by AI,” it said in the trailer as it showed pictures and names of the creators like Pokimane, Lachlan, Ali-A, and more.
Dexerto sources have confirmed that at least two of the major streamers on the advertising were not consulted, nor did they give permission for the developers to include them in the game as AI-generated likenesses.
The teams of both Ali-A and Lachlan stated they are not involved in any capacity, despite the game’s website stating it had secured deals for major streamers to be a part of the project. One source stated they had never come across the game before and this was the first they had heard of it, when we made contact regarding the story.

According to its website, Paradise has confirmed that they have several contracts with influencers from Asian countries and is continuing to negotiate with “major international partners.”
“At present, we have signed several contracts with influencers, primarily from Asian countries, and we continue to negotiate with major international partners,” it reads.
“When information about our collaborations first appeared on the website, it was marked as ‘Soon,’ as we already had preliminary agreements, and contract terms were under discussion.
“However, since not all contracts were finalized within the expected timeframe, we decided to temporarily remove this information to avoid any potential misunderstandings or misleading our users.”
The game’s website also has the option for players to purchase cryptocurrency ahead of the game’s launch, called $PAR token.
At the time of writing, the trailer has been watched over 1.4 million times on YouTube and many of those viewers will be expecting to find top streamers in the game as NPCs when it releases.
On Steam, the game’s page still features the trailer advertising the content creators we understand have not given their consent to be a part of the project.
None of the influencers mentioned have responded to the game’s existence on stream since the developers released a demo of the title on April 2.
