I’m absolutely diggin’ these upgrades, now can we go back to the “Indians” name?

The Cleveland Guardians organization made the announcement Friday that they will be making some changes to their 2025 uniforms, with all four undergoing refinements that are meant to energize the fanbase and honor the history of the 124-year-old franchise. Joining the Guardians’ City Connect uniforms, the four jerseys complete the new on-field look for Cleveland. To be exact, the Guardians are upgrading their white home uniforms, gray road uniforms, red alternate home uniforms and blue alternate road uniforms. The white home unis will also be coming along with a brand new hat that will make its debut this season.

When it comes to the most notable change, that belongs to the blue alternative unis, which will have Cleveland‘s “Diamond C” on the chest.

Look good, play good. ✨

I’m loving the modifications that the Guardians are making to their unis, but since we’re making a bunch of changes and bringing back that old school feel, why not just bring back the “Indians” brand name and that cool as hell smiling Native American logo?

Hell, I’ll even take the hilariously satirical “Caucasians” brand if it’s going to create a problem with advertisers.
