Hajin map in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ and Warzone revealed: All POIs

Modern Warfare 4 DMZ and Warzone’s Hajin map has been revealed, giving an overview of the large-scale map and its POIs.

The DMZ extraction mode returns in MW4, where players deploy to the new Hajin map to complete missions, loot gear, and battle other players.

The mode takes place after the events of MW4’s campaign, in an exclusion zone split between areas that were previously North Korea and South Korea. The westernmost POIs were part of North Korea, and the rest were South Korea. A third Russian area will open up in Season 2.

The previous North Korean areas are more rural and militaristic, while the rest of the map is more urban and modern, with a hospital, shopping district, stadium, and residential areas. Buildings and other areas will have distinctive designs so you can tell who used to occupy the area.

Activision

Different areas of Hajin have different threat levels in DMZ, where the higher the threat, the more dangerous and numerous the enemies will be.

Higher threat levels will require stealth if you want to avoid all-out chaos, but escaping from the enemies can calm things down.

In DMZ, these named POIs are assigned an expected threat level, with the minor locations inside these POIs also assigned a threat level. For example, while the 14th Political Prison’s yard has a High threat level, the Citadel area is Critical.

Hajin also 60 minor POIs to discover and explore, and Infinity Ward have revealed a handful of them:

• Imjin Suburb
• Mujin Pass
• Daesong Ridge
• Namjin Riverside

Plus, there will be ‘Locations of Interest’ such as Gas Stations, Police Stations, UAV Towers, and Clinics. These locations have unique loot tailored to their purpose; e.g., Gas Stations have Gas Cans for vehicles, Police Stations have military gear and an armory, and Clinics have medical supplies.

Hajin will be available to explore in Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode and some of its Ground War maps on October 23, and then it will arrive in Warzone with the Season 1 update post-launch.
