Halo: Campaign Evolved released on Tuesday, July 28, with the Premium Edition granting five days of early access that began on Thursday, July 23.

Halo: Campaign Evolved story

Halo: Campaign Evolved is set in the 26th century, where humanity has colonized the galaxy. Earth’s defense force, the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) are at war with a coalition of alien races called the Covenant, and at the start of the game, humanity is losing.

Super soldier Master Chief is aboard the UNSC’s Pillar of Autumn when it crash-lands on a mysterious ring-world known as Halo. While battling the Covenant, Master Chief uncovers a threat that puts the galaxy at risk.

Is there multiplayer?

While Halo: Campaign Evolved doesn’t have multiplayer PvP, you’re able to play the entire campaign co-op with three other players.

Not only is it cross-platform, letting you play the game with your friends no matter which platform they’re on, but it also has split-screen couch co-op on consoles.
