On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Harris-Walz Surrogate Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) argued that there will be fewer strikes if 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris is elected and that the head of the dockworkers union is “a Trump guy” who might want to cripple the economy for political purposes.

This Harris surrogate and the Candidate herself have their wires crossed, one says the Dock Worker President is a Trump guy bent on harming the economy to help Trump and Kamala herself is on record supporting the strike. Talk about arguing both sides of the issue.
The Democrats have themselves in a box, they can’t afford to be seen as Anti-Union because that’s a key part of their base, OTOH, a strike shutting down ports which will lead to shortages and rapidly increasing prices right before election isn’t good either.
The longer this goes on, the more Kamala will twist herself into a pretzel because she has no idea what to do.
