Disgraced film mogul and convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein reacted to Adrien Brody mentioning his children with ex-wife Georgina Chapman during the movie star’s 2025 Oscars speech.

While accepting the Academy Award for best actor for his role in “The Brutalist” on Sunday, Brody name-dropped his girlfriend’s two kids during his six-minute speech.

Brody, 51, told attendees while holding up the golden statuette, “I share this with my amazing partner, Georgina, who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth but my sense of value and my values and her beautiful children, Dash and India.

“It’s been a roller coaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life, and Popsy’s coming home a winner,” he added, using the nickname the children gave him.

After the “Pianist” star mentioned the children, Weinstein’s rep, Juda Engelmayer, told the Daily Mail on Monday, “Harvey is happy for Georgina and grateful that his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be.”

Chapman, 48, began dating Brody in 2020 in the midst of her divorce from Weinstein, 72. They made their red carpet debut in 2021 and have been going strong since.

The fashion designer filed for divorce from Weinstein in 2017 after dozens of women accused him of rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment, which started the #MeToo movement.

They finalized their divorce in 2021.

Some of Weinstein’s famous accusers included Rose McGowan, Ashley Judd, Lauren Holly, Mira Sorvino, Sean Young, Annabella Sciora and many more. Many of them also claimed they had been blacklisted from Hollywood for refusing his advances.

During his New York trial, he was convicted in 2020 of forcibly performing oral sex on a former assistant in 2006 and rape in the third degree from an attack in 2013. However, the conviction was overturned in 2024.

Weinstein is still serving a 16-year sentence in California as a result of a separate conviction.

Most recently, he was extradited to New York’s Rikers Island for his retrial in April.

While he has been in jail, Weinstein has been battling multiple health issues, including cardiac issues, diabetes, sleep apnea and eye problems. He was also diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in 2024.
