Megyn Kelly, the former Fox News host, criticized Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos’s wife, for wearing a revealing outfit at the inauguration. A clip of her remarks, made on the Megyn Kelly Show, was posted on January 21 2025. In the short video, Kelly criticized Sanchez for dressing appropriately for the inauguration and made fun of her obviously surgically enhanced features.
Kelly also explained a previous run-in with Sanchez, in which one of her employees was harassed by Lauren Sanchez’s PR firm. Commentators online reacted to the clip by agreeing with Kelly and criticizing the inappropriate outfit.
She began her remarks by explaining her long-running feud with Sanchez. She said, “Jeff Bezos runs the Washington Post, owns it and owns Amazon, of course. And I will tell you, this is not my first time saying she dresses like a h*oker, because she does. And we called out. We had a call [on a] deal with some Hollywood PR firm. I can’t remember who we were trying to get, but we tried to avoid those people.”
Kelly continued her story, “But sometimes you can’t, and this PR agent went off on our booker. They were so angry because they represent her, or they do some business with her, and she had, you know, talked to that, whatever. It’s like, those two don’t like to be made fun of. He’s done a lot to change his look. He looks nothing like he looked 20 years ago.”
She concluded by humorously lambasting Sanchez. Kelly said, “She, I don’t think she’s seen a doctor. She doesn’t want to go under the scalpel. You tell me that’s not natural, and that’s fine, if that’s your choice, but have some dignity and some respect for your setting and your circumstances. No one should be talking about your t*ts. Sorry, we should be talking about the inauguration.”
The comments section was full of users objecting to the shameful display. One read, “Megyn Kelly is right, no one should be showing off so much at a presidential inauguration and in fact nowhere, it’s a total lack of respect. Make Modesty Great Again.” Another said, “It was inappropriate and shameful the way Sanchez dressed. Shocking really.”
A user replied,” Honestly, I try not to be the outfit police but she was literally wearing visible lingerie under her jacket. Maybe for a night out or something, I just think for the inauguration of our president it’s in quite poor taste.” One woman chimed in: “She does dress like a h*oker and it’s not the first time. She was dressed very inappropriately for President Trump’s Inauguration.”

Other comments shifted the focus to Sen. Fetterman, who wore his usual hoodie to the event. One reply read, “Why is everyone picking on a woman who is not in government when a sitting senator wore shorts and a hoodie? The latter is far more egregious. It’s not the outfit I would have picked for an inauguration, but at least she has on a blazer. the same cannot be said for Fetterman.”
