Hayden Panettiere made a heartbreaking comment about her “exciting” future plans weeks before her tragic death at 36 on Sunday.

“I finally feel like I have shaken off all of this darkness and this negativity,” the actress said in a May episode of the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast.

The “Heroes” alum was promoting her “This Is Me” memoir during the emotional sitdown, which marked one of her final interviews discussing her addiction struggles, her brother’s death and more personal battles.

“I’ve closed one door and another door is opened,” the “Nashville” alum said during the vulnerable chat. “I feel like I have a lot more life to live.”

She teased “exciting possibilities” ahead at the end of the interview.

Three months later, the Golden Globe nominee’s dad, Skip Panettiere, confirmed her passing in a statement.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” he told Page Six on Sunday of the “unimaginable loss.”

Skip continued, “She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen. We ask for privacy as our family takes time to process this.”

The former soap star died in her South Carolina home, with paramedics responding to a call for an “unresponsive female” suffering from a suspected “overdose” and “cardiac arrest.”

Emergency responders attempted to revive Hayden but were unsuccessful.

Her cause of death is not yet known at this time, and an autopsy reportedly being performed Monday by the Greenville County coroner.

Hayden’s rep has yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The former child star made her final public appearance in May, with Hayden telling audience members at a Los Angeles book event that her hope was to “leave the world a better place than [she] found it.”

As for her “laundry list” of future endeavors, Hayden gushed, “I would love to direct. I really wanna direct and be that person that creates a safe environment for actors and be like, this is the experience you’re supposed to have. I would love to produce.”

Additionally, Hayden said she was “kind of trying [her] hand at writing.”

She dubbed herself a “forever work in progress” in her tell-all book, writing, “I never want to stop evolving and changing for the better. … Life is a process that evolves day by day, year by year, and — like it or not — you are engaged in a cycle of growth until the moment you take your last breath.”
