Hayden Panettiere to be honored at celebration of life in Malibu — and Brian Hickerson is not invited

Hayden Panettiere will be honored at a celebration of life this weekend, one month after the actress’ tragic passing — and her ex-boyfriend Brian Hickerson is not invited to the memorial.

The event will take place at a Malibu, California, church on Saturday, TMZ reported Friday.

A source shared that the coastal location was selected due to Panettiere’s love of the ocean and whales.

An estimated 150 of the late “Nashville” alum’s family members, close friends and former colleagues are expected to attend, according to the outlet.

Hayden’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Brian and his brother Zach Hickerson, both of whom attempted to resuscitate the “Heroes” alum when she died of an apparent overdose in South Carolina on Aug. 16, did not receive invites to the event, per the outlet.

Panettiere, notably, had a tumultuous on-again, off-again romance with Brian, dating back to 2018.

In 2021, Brian pleaded no contest to two felony counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend — and Panettiere described the abuse in her “This Is Me: A Reckoning” memoir, which came out in May.

She and Brian reconnected prior to her death, with a source telling Page Six she kept “many of her friends” in the dark about the reconciliation.

When asked recently at a gas station how he’s holding up after his ex’s passing, Brian shot back, “How do you think I’m doing?”

In addition to Brian and Zach, Panettiere’s mom, Lesley Vogel, has also been left off the guest list, per TMZ, while dad Skip Panettiere is expected to attend.

Vogel, notably, drew heat in August when she reacted to Hayden’s death with a statement about her daughter having been “on the wrong path.”

The 70-year-old subsequently issued a message to “haters” during a “Good Morning America” interview, saying, “You don’t have a right to tell me how I mourn the loss of my second child. That’s my domain.”

The investigation into the a death — which featured “no signs of foul play” — is still ongoing.

The Drug Enforcement Administration, notably, joined the investigation last month.

Officials are allegedly honing in on Hayden’s Los Angeles drug dealer, thanks to a “slew of” incriminating text messages.

While her cause of death is not yet known, TMZ reported Monday that Hayden died of a single fentanyl-laced oxycodone pill.

The coroner, however, issued a statement reading, “We have not released anything at this time. We will send out an email release when ready.”

Hayden’s spokesperson echoed the need to wait for “the completion of toxicology results,” railing against “recent reports attributed to unnamed sources [that] … have attributed to conflicting information that continues to circulate.”
