A celebrity wedding in Spain almost descended into chaos after the bridesmaid accidentally dropped the bride and groom's rings in the ocean.

Australian surfer Laura Enever and DJ Jake Smith tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Ibiza earlier this month in front of celebrity guests DJ Fisher and his wife Chloe and Australian model Ellidy Pullin.

Fisher and Chloe shared a clip of the heart-stopping moment the bridesmaid dropped one of the rings overboard after the couple's three-month-old daughter Bobbi 'helped' her mother carry the boxes over to the wedding party.

Chloe and Bobbi were seen handing the rings to the bridesmaid who slipped and screamed out as the ring case briefly fell into the water.

Fortunately, the bridesmaids quickly managed to fish it out of the sea and reassured the worried couple the wedding could still go ahead.

DJ Fisher and Chloe captioned the clip with some hilarious words: 'NUP I cannot believe this happened HAHAHA.'

Many of their famous friends quickly took to the comment section to share their relief at the rings being saved.

'I was ready to go dive,' quipped bride Laura, as celebrity trainer Michelle Bridges added: 'I just audibly gasped!'
