The IDF confirmed on Friday the elimination of Hezbollah communications network head Mohammad Rashid Sakafi.
Sakafi was eliminated during an intelligence-based Israel Air Force operation in Beirut on Thursday. Appointed head of Hezbollah's communications network in 2000, Sakafi was a long-time member at the terrorist organization, and was closely connected to senior Hezbollah officials, the IDF noted.
