Hezbollah announced on Friday that its forces targeted the Stella Maris base, a strategic Israeli naval facility near Haifa, with “unique missiles,” though it did not elaborate on the nature or specific capabilities of the missiles used.

Hezbollah identified the Stella Maris base as a key site for Israel's coastal control, and the strike was framed as part of its support for Palestinian resistance in Gaza and a defense of Lebanon’s borders.

The statement added that the attack, carried out at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, was launched under the broader “Operation Khyber” campaign in response to Israeli "aggressions and massacres."

In a statement, Hezbollah described the strike as an answer to the rallying cry "Labbaik Ya Nasrallah," which expresses loyalty and readiness to follow or support Hezbollah's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah's guidance.

Sheikh Naim Qassem, Hezbollah's Secretary-General, spoke earlier this week, reaffirming Hezbollah's commitment to resistance at an event honoring the late Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on the fortieth anniversary of his martyrdom.

“The resistance will continue on its path and grow even stronger,” he stated, suggesting that Hezbollah’s actions would intensify if required.

Qassem also highlighted the depth of Hezbollah’s organizational structure, which spans cultural, political, military, educational, and healthcare sectors, asserting that the group’s resistance is built on solid foundations in expertise, courage, and resilience.

“The battlefield is the only way to stop aggression beyond borders, in addition to strikes on Israel’s internal front,” he added, indicating Hezbollah’s readiness with tens of thousands of trained forces for sustained conflict.
