Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is once again supporting Operation Santa Claus (OSC), the annual Christmas charity campaign which helps the underprivileged.

For the sixth year in a row, it will donate all the proceeds from sales of its festive “Holiday Wishes Charity Postcards” to the fundraising initiative organised jointly by the South China Morning Post and public broadcaster RTHK.

The resort donated over HK$570,000 (US$73,350) to the campaign last year after selling more than 57,000 postcards.

Mary Lam, the resort’s director of merchandise, said its continuing support for OSC was part of its efforts to reinforce its environmental, social and corporate governance commitments each holiday season through long-term projects.

“At Hong Kong Disneyland, giving is part of who we are – and during the holidays we give even more,” she said.

“We believe that everything we do to make magic can make a difference. Through our collective efforts, all of us at Disney make a magic impact on the community.”
