Rescue teams in Myanmar’s capital, Naypyitaw, saved a 63-year-old woman on Tuesday, 91 hours after she was trapped in rubble by Friday's devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake.
The earthquake, centered near Mandalay, caused widespread destruction, leaving thousands without power or communication.
The death toll has surpassed 2,000, with over 3,900 injured and many still missing.
Relief efforts are hindered by damaged infrastructure, fuel shortages, and a lack of heavy machinery.
The World Health Organisation reported that over 10,000 buildings, including schools and hospitals, have been destroyed or severely damaged.
