Horrific video has emerged showing the moment a Las Vegas showgirl was knifed to death in the street in her red feather outfit during a mass stabbing.

Maris Mareen DiGiovanni, 30, was killed in the October 2022 rampage along with Brent Hallett, 47.

Prosecutors say Yoni Barrios, 34, is responsible for their murder as well as injuring six others, many of them showgirls.

Barrios, 34, was indicted in on terror charges and murder charges among others after a grand jury was shown the harrowing footage, 8 News Now reports.

The video shows the suspect sprinting down the Vegas strip with a large kitchen knife in hand.

As he approaches DiGiovanni he plunges the weapon into her, sending her sprawling to the ground.

He then runs down Las Vegas Boulevard and sinks the knife into another man in the back.

He continues running and stabs a third man who is knocked off the wall he is sitting on.

Showgirl and school teacher Maris Mareen DiGiovanni, 30, was killed in the October 2022 rampage

A later clip shows him being tackled to the ground by police inside the Sands Expo.

Chilling photographs taken after the attack show DiGiovanni's red feathered headress lying on the blood-spattered ground.

Police said the attack began after Barrios approached a group of showgirls and asked them to take a picture.

He reportedly told them he was a chef and wanted to take a picture with the knife.

However, thought they were laughing at his clothes and appearance and began 'indiscriminately' stabbing, according to Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney John Giordani.

DiGiovanni was part of the Best Showgirls In Vegas modeling and talent agency, according to boss Cheryl Lowthorp. She was also a school teacher.

Lowthorp said two others with the agency were among the wounded and a third escaped without injury.

Prior to the rampage, Barrios reportedly went to the Wynn casino and asked a janitor about jobs and was also seeking work as a chef.

Barrios also told a casino security guard he was trying to sell his knives that he kept in a suitcase to raise enough money to go back home, although police said his citizenship isn't clear.

Court documents exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com reveal that Barrios was charged in 2019 with criminal domestic violence by Los Angeles district attorney Jackie Lacey, who has since left office.

Had he been convicted, Barrios would likely have been imprisoned and deported.

Lacey failed to bring the case to court in time, and after 90 days elapsed the judge was forced to dismiss the case under California speedy trial laws, according to court records.

Barrios was also prosecuted for driving dangerously and without a license in Riverside, California in 2016.

After his arrest on Thursday Barrios told detectives he was from Guatemala and wanted ICE to take him home, according to a report released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
