A woman was found stabbed to death inside a home in San Jose, police said.

The victim was found inside the property in the 700 block of Linda Vista Street around 2 p.m. Friday, NBC Bay Area reported. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities described the suspect as a woman who knew the victim. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack.
