One unnamed student said they had known Loving for some time and it 'hurt a lot to see him go'.
'I feel sad. It's just a lot to take in. I've known him two to three years. It hurts a lot to see him go away like that over just some fights', they told KUVE.
Other students also revealed that a video of the stabbing and aftermath was sent around school, which left many traumatized including ninth-grader Jayden Albequerque.
'One of my friends told me that there was a murder, and I didn't believe it until they showed me a video of what happened. And that's where I got traumatized. And I just, like, hid in the corner.
'It was just like the guy dead on the floor with blood everywhere on the floor.
'I'm traumatized. I don't know what to say. After I saw the video, I didn't want to see it again,' Albequerque told FOX7.
State Rep. Sheryl Cole, who represents Texas House District 46 where the school is located wrote on X: 'My heart breaks for the victim and my thoughts are with the victim's family during this unimaginable tragedy'.
