Horrific scenes of a bus rolling down the road completely engulfed in flames before smashing into a utility pole in Brazil were captured on terrifying video.
A public transport bus, operated by SPTrans, caught fire after suffering from an electrical failure early Monday afternoon - frightening passengers and residents of the Cidade Dutra region in the south of São Paulo, Revista Oeste reported.
The appalling video footage captured the abandoned bus as it rolled down the street scorched in flames while huge clouds of black smoke poured out of the vehicle's roof and windows - all while the public screamed in horror.
But the bus only stopped moving when it hit a power pole and building just seconds later - triggering a massive explosion.
Video captured sparks erupting off the inferno and flames flying even higher in the air - leaving behind plumes of thick, heavy smoke.
Car alarms and horns can be heard roaring in the background as several people began to hose down the intense blaze.
The driver of the bus said he had pulled the handbrake and turned off the engine to let passengers out when he realized the vehicle 'had a problem', the outlet reported - but it began moving on its own after the fire started shortly after.
The military mobilized four vehicles to act on the scene and extinguish the fire, which left behind a gutted bus with only steel frames for seats.
Miraculously, no one was injured from the incident.
